Back From Cadwell

I’ve been back for a couple of days and looked back on a mixed time at Cadwell, but overall it was a successful weekend.

I struggled to break the 1:50 barrier and got frustrated by not making the progress that I wanted to. It wasn’t until Sunday in the 600 final that I finally broke that barrier and then skipped straight into the 48s. All weekend I was having good races, full of action and never found myself on my own just going round. I even started 11th on the grids in the 600 qualifiers, that was a real buzz as the BSS boys who where getting a bit of practice in came past like you would not believe. I also had a bit of problems with the Gixxer. It had a little oil coming out of the generator cover and I couldn’t seem to stop it totally, having a small weep which was a fairly concerning and took up a large amount of time to sort out and played on my mind a bit.

The last race was on a half wet track and half dry track… which was interesting to say the least, as I decided that dry tyres was the way to go unlike all but 2 other rides. I managed to get my best result so far 4th. Annoyingly the track was coming to me and a little longer 2 or 3 laps and I may and it’s a long shot been able to get a 3rd. Well I like to think so at any rate πŸ™‚

Still, not long to go until Anglesey.

Oil seems to be behaving itself, though I’ll give it a good look over again before heading Westward.

LOL Graham is a camera whore isn’t he? He’s in EVERY shot over the weekend πŸ™‚ I have lots of him but more the merrier πŸ™‚

Do you have anything you'd like to add?
