We have found the issue with the R6. It’s not the head bearings, it’s the steering damper mount.

It looks like it’s either missing a spacers or is off a different model. The bearing in the centre has become notchy with being pulled into place, hence it felt HORRIBLE to ride. Big thanks to Spring Court in Rochdale for sorting me out. Top group of fellas there. The head stock bearing was actually a little loose.

Hopefully now I can get on it, and not be totally scared of the thing chucking me at the nearest barrier.
