I am back from Mallory Park and I am sporting a very red neck (I might have to buy a banjo and a pick up truck it’s that red). I had a blast and I am working through the videos at the moment to get them online. I rode, I think, fairly badly up until the finals on Sunday. I think I was chasing entry speed and braking too late for corners all the time and compromising my line and exit. That all said it was still all fun 🙂 The bike had a little issue with the immobiliser kicking in (the fault code C42) when very hot, but it seems to have sorted itself, but I’ll be checking the wires to make sure it’s not chewed through one or frayed one, apart from that the bike is spot on. The tuning has made it smooth and powerful. I am not sure I could feel the power at Mallory as it’s geared so low it could just be that, but anyway, it feels good. I am currently crunching through the videos,As I catch up on MotoGP and World Superbikes,  so keep an eye out and I’ll post them as fast as I can.

The results were not brilliant, even coming last of the finishers in the Open 600 (been a while since I was last in a race), but they did improve on Sunday… if only it was a 3 day meeting 🙂

On the down side. I won’t be having my training session with Spike as he has had a bit of an off and so won’t be able to make it tomorrow. I’m still going to put some laps in at Oulton Park as what I need is some more seat time I think.
