Well I am already on the road to Oulton, just a pesky day of work to do first. It’s as close as I get for a home race so I can leave work at 6 and be there by 7 at the latest, now watch the M56 close like it has done on the last 2 long hauls. The fact it’s the closest track does not mean I have that much experience of it, I seem to think I have done 3 or 4 days there in total and I haven’t been for over a year. Looking on some of the message boards seems that the grids will be swelled from riders from different clubs joining in the fun, so a few places further down the results for me then :). The weather forecasts also seemed to have improved so I may not need to get the WoWs on (wets on wheels).
This site is really an insight, reflections and reactions to my racing in the NGRRC championship, this year Street Stocks 700 and Open 600. I shall be trying to blog, advise and record all my successes and failures, along with thoughts around motorcycle racing at club and higher levels
