Well I got back from the track day at Oulton Park yesterday. It very much was a day of 2 halves. Before the lunch break it was dry and I got some valuable track time at one of my favourite tracks. After lunch… well I got some wet weather practice in, and I mean REALLY wet. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t getting my instruction from Spike Edwards but it couldn’t be helped and I tried to work on my riding more than chase lap times. I found some good points I hope for the races there in a few weeks time and hopefully won’t start as slowly as I did at Mallory this weekend. That said… I really ache today 3 days of the last 4 on a bike) and all of my kit is dripping wet.
I videoed a few sessions. I would have done more but I must have knocked the camera on when driving to the circuit and drained the battery (didn’t have time to change it before the first session) and didn’t turn on the camera back on after turning it off for a bit of a hold before being let out on track (d’oh).
